Spring Art Projects: Tape Resist Flower Painting · Craftwhack

Leap art projects are popping up all over the place, and we've caught the bug! In this fine art project, we're focusing on tape resist and water color. Call back my post on Watercolor Techniques? Nosotros dipped into those a little bit.

Materials:

• Watercolor or heavyweight art paper
• Watercolor paints
• Bluish painter'southward tape
• Big old salt crystals, or anything you lot want to use forth with the paints. See these watercolor ideas.

Directions:

For this one, I taped the actual shape of the flower, so when I removed the shape the colour was only left on the residue of the folio, with a white silhouette of a flower.
